From Our Strathalbyn Base we depart to the West on climb to over fly the Kuitpo Forrest.
After taking in the rolling hills of the Mount Lofty Ranges the McLaren Vale wine region gently emerges from the shadows of the Willunga Hills and stretches all the way down to the golden beaches of Gulf Saint Vincent.
Our flight takes us over the township of McLaren Vale and towards Moana Beach where we track South at low level along Maslin's Beach (Australia's first legal nudist beach) and gain a new perspective of the colourful cliffs of Port Willunga and the Star of Greece Shipwreck.
We commence climbing and track East for a spectacular view of the tapestry that is the McLaren Vale Wine region. Overhead the historic market town of Willunga we have a birds eye view of the punishing Willunga Hill which features in the international Tour Down Under King Of The Mountain Cycle Race.
We continue East and over fly the market garden town of Ashbourne before commencing our descent back to Strathalbyn.
