Departing from Strathalbyn we track north west over the Bull Creek Range taking in the leafy village towns of Macclesfield and Echunga. We fly over the Onkaparinga River where it flows into Mt Bold Reservoir. As we crest the lush green Mt Lofty Ranges you will be struck by the stark contrast of the suburbs of Adelaide, neatly laid out in front of us, and wedged between the Mt Lofty ranges to the east and the cool blue waters of Gulf St Vincent to the west. Upon receiving our clearance from air traffic control we will track directly for the centre of Adelaide and conduct an orbit of the parklands which surround the city centre. We then track west for Henley Beach and set course to the south whilst flying low level along Adelaide's finest beaches. We continue coastal until we reach Maslins Beach where we will increase altitude. We will then track east over the top of the McLaren Vale wine region. We will crest the Sellicks Hill Range, fly over the Kuitpo Forrest and then commence our descent back into Strathalbyn.
